Development Review

Most development review applications start at the “Front Counter” of either the physical City Hall or the virtual online program known as the Permit Portal. If you don’t know where you are in the development process and are looking for the correct way to begin, our “3x4 process” is a great tool.

Edgewood’s “3x4 process” is a quick means-test that City staff members use to help customers by asking the same four questions through three potential starting points. Contact the physical front counter if you need help navigating the 3x4 document.

Performing development review is primarily the responsibility of the Development Review Committee (DRC).

The DRC is a team of professionals from multiple disciplines that is responsible for ensuring project permitting reviews are conducted in accordance with state and local rules.

Each of the following disciplines or agencies are included, as needed, in the DRC.
