The vehicle was operated in violation of Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 46.61.440 and enforced pursuant to RCW 46.63.170 and Edgewood Municipal Code Chapter 10.25. The vehicle was operated at a speed in excess of the posted speed limit in the school zone where school speed limit signs indicate a 20 MPH speed limit, warning lights are flashing and signs indicating the speed limit is enforced with automated traffic safety cameras.
