Boards & Commissions
Boards and Commissions are groups of informed citizens who advise the council on important topics. Their decisions are passed on to the council as recommendations.

Code Enforcement Board
The Code Enforcement Board shall hear cases and appeals, and render decisions regarding civil violations of the Edgewood Municipal Code or specified ordinances.

Economic Development Advisory Board
Members of the Economic Development Board serve as volunteers in an advisory capacity to the City Council. They are responsible for studying the economic development needs of the citizens, business owners, and developers, and making recommendations to the Council concerning those needs.

Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
The Parks Board is an advisory board to the City Council responsible for studying the parks and recreation needs of the citizens, and making recommendations to the Council concerning those needs.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission provides recommendations regarding changes to the City’s comprehensive plan and development standards.

Salary Commission
The City of Edgewood established a Salary Commission to set the salaries of the Mayor and City Councilmembers.
