The City of Edgewood is seeking Request for Proposals (RFPs) in preparation for an Energy Savings Performance Contract.
The Project includes Architectural and Engineering Services, completion of an Investment Grade Audit, grant applications, along with project management for the construction of a roof-mounted solar photovoltaic array. The Project site is located at the City of Edgewood City Hall: 2224 104th Ave E, Edgewood, WA 98372. It will be the responsibility of the interested firms to develop guaranteed maximum costs and the energy production for the following scope of work:
- Installation of a roof mounted photo-voltaic solar array rated at 65kW DC STC, that is net metered through the facility’s electric meter and is cost-effective in compliance with alternative procurement requirements, Chapter 39.10 of the Revised Code of Washington;
- Investment grade audit; and
- The Energy Savings Company (ESCO) will assist the City in applying for and helping to secure Solar Grants in order to help finance the proposed project. The City reserves the right to apply for the grants again in subsequent rounds if unsuccessful the first time, and to delay or cancel the project if no grants are received.
