Food Truck Pilot Program
The City of Edgewood has launched a new pilot program for food truck vendors that are looking to operate within the city! Rather than require a $500 Temporary Use Permit and limit operations to no more than 180 days per calendar year, this program will enable vendors to operate throughout the city for only $50 a year. Please see the following:
To get your Food Truck License, simply apply online following these steps:
- Go to the City's Online Permit Portal
- Login or register for a free account
- Once logged in, select "My Portal", "Apply Online", the "LICENSING" category, and "Food Truck License"
- Follow the prompts and complete each section on the licensing landing page
- Once each section has been marked "Done", you can click the "Submit Application" button at the bottom of the page!
What a delicious idea...
To add a little more flavor to the dish, the city is also looking for vendors to operate on city-owned property! So long as you meet certain minimum criteria, the city will be opening up the following locations for vending from April through October:
- Edgewood City Hall Civic Campus - in front of the barn facing Meridian Ave E
- Monday through Friday, 10a to 8p
- Saturday and Sunday, 2p to 7p
- Edgewood Community Park (36th & Meridian) - parking lot near the playground
- Monday through Friday, 10a to 2p
- Saturday and Sunday, 10a to 7p
This opportunity is only open until March 9, 2026! Please see the City's Bid Openings webpage for more details.
